Fire safety training and awareness is vital to ensure workplace fire safety as failure to implement fire safety measures can have devastating consequences.

Workplace Fire Safety: What are your obligations?

In this blog post we highlight the importance of fire safety and take a closer look at the accredited courses we offer.

Legislation
UK legislation states that businesses are required by law to nominate a responsible individual to be given a duty of care to ensure the fire safety of their staff. Once the individual has been appointed, the competent staff member must carry out a range of fire safety responsibilities of which include; completing fire risk assessments, implementing and maintaining a fire risk management system and ensuring that essential training, including the use of fire extinguishers, is kept up to date on a regular basis.

Accreditation
We work closely with a range of organisations to offer an extensive portfolio of fire safety courses, all of which are accredited or approved by the Institute of Fire Safety Managers (IFSM). Furthermore, the IFSM encourages delegates to join their ranks at the appropriate grade, gained from successfully completing their fire safety qualification based training.

Our courses
Whether your business is within the public or private sector, our accredited courses can help organisations meet their fire safety obligations, with fire safety training courses tailored dependant on industry.

Delivered by our qualified and expert trainers, our in-depth courses have a variety of multimedia presentations and practical exercises designed to equip delegates with a comprehensive knowledge of fire safety and empower them to confidently manage fire safety within the workplace.

Some of the courses we offer are fire warden training, fire manager course (9 day) and fire extinguisher and awareness training. Once delegates have successfully completed our fire manager course, we offer an advanced course to those who wish to further their professional standing.

Our courses take place both at various public locations across the country or online, or alternatively you can contact us to arrange training at your own premises.
