The Fire Manager Certificate combines the 5 Day Fire Risk Assessor and the 4 Day Managing Fire Safety courses to provide comprehensive, in-depth and practical training on all aspects of fire safety.
Current fire safety legislation requires a risk-based regime in organisations with a nominated competent person overseeing the fire safety management responsibilities - Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 for England and Wales/Fire (Scotland) Act 2005/Northern Ireland Fire Safety Regulations 2010.
This prestigious course has been designed specifically for individuals employed in a wide range of industrial and commercial backgrounds in both public and the private sector and organisations who require in-depth, practical training in fire risk assessment and fire safety management.
This course ensures that on completion delegates feel competent and confident to carry out fire risk assessments, produce fire safety reports and fire emergency plans of small to medium size premises in line with current legislation leading to a Fire Associate level qualification with the IFSM or a Fire Technician qualification with the IFE, subject to validation criteria.
A highly practical 9 day in-depth course of study, consisting of 2 modules with multi-media presentations, working on plan drawings and practical exercises, using software and laptops provided; held on a public or in-house basis for up to 12.
It covers all the essentials required to implement an effective fire safety management system to satisfy the requirements of current legislation.
