Our popular Managing Fire Safely Course (4 day) is now available online.

Delegates will take part in interactive online sessions via a professional web-based platform delivered by our fully qualified trainers. The course lengths, content, and materials will remain the same. The exams will be taken on the final day and submitted by email with results and certificates issued within two weeks of the final course date.

PLEASE NOTE: This course is only open to residents in the UK.


For those who have successfully completed Vulcan’s Fire Risk Assessor Course this 4 Day module enables delegates, upon successful completion, to be awarded a prestigious Vulcan Fire Manager Course (9 day) certificate and be eligible to apply to the Institute of Fire Safety Manager (IFSM) or the Institute of Fire Engineers (IFE) for a professionally recognised qualification, subject to their validation criteria.

About the course

A highly practical course of study using multi-media presentations and exercises, specifically fire safety related. 

It covers all the essentials required to implement an effective fire safety management system to satisfy the requirements of current legislation.

Who should book?

Those who have completed the Vulcan Fire Risk Assessor Course (5 day) looking to apply for or enhance their professional, nationally-recognised, fire safety management qualification.


  • The Institute of Fire Safety Managers (IFSM) for whom Vulcan is an Approved Centre has accredited the course at Fire Associate (AIFSM) level, subject to validation criteria.
  • The Institution of Fire Engineers (IFE) has recognised the course as an education programme subject to their validation a Fire Technician grade.
