Introduction

The Fire Manager Course (9 day) combines the Fire Risk Assessor (5 day) and the Managing Fire Safety (4 day) course modules to provide comprehensive, in-depth and practical training on all aspects of fire safety.

Current fire safety legislation requires a risk-based regime in organisations with a nominated competent person overseeing the fire safety management responsibilities - Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 for England and Wales/Fire (Scotland) Act 2005/Northern Ireland Fire Safety Regulations 2010.

This prestigious online course has been designed specifically for individuals employed in a wide range of industrial and commercial backgrounds in both public and the private sector and organisations who require in-depth, practical training in fire risk assessment and fire safety management.

This course ensures that on completion delegates feel competent and confident to carry out fire risk assessments, produce fire safety reports and fire emergency plans of small to medium size premises in line with current legislation. Upon successful completion of the course delegates can apply for Associate Member Grade with the IFSM leading to the AIFSM professional fire safety membership subject to IFSM criteria eg 3 years’ relevant experience . The Institution of Fire Engineers (IFE) recognises the Fire Manager course as an educational programme for fire safety at the TIFireE (Fire Technician) level subject to validation.
