Excellent course delivered at the trainees’ pace not the instructors, which is always useful. Much of the groundwork had been covered on previous training so left you well prepared. The syllabus and projects were both challenging and informative. The instructor certainly knows his stuff, very helpful and explained things easily when the going got a little tougher. As Head of H&S and Compliance at a large Housing Provider I wanted to ensure that I have the right level of skills and competency to enable me to fully understand fire management in all types of buildings from sheltered accommodation to high rise blocks of flats. The Fire Manager Advanced Course was a logical progression for me after completing the Fire Risk Assessor and Fire Manager Course with Vulcan Training. Since passing the course I am now confident that I have the additional knowledge I needed, especially when combined with the project that I had to complete, which will allow me to manage fire safety at a senior level. The Advanced Fire Managers course did not disappoint. After a week in the classroom there is a project, I decided that I didn’t just want to pass the course but would use the opportunity to really question and challenge fire safety at work, this resulted in new policies and procedures for my employer as well as the successful completion of my project.
