Success on Fire Manager Advanced Diploma

Vulcan are delighted that our delegate, Mark Wilson, Health & Safety Compliance Officer at Places for People Living+ has recently been awarded the Fire Manager Advanced Diploma.
The Fire Manager Advanced Diploma consists of a 5 day training course, which Mark attended earlier this year, followed by the completion of a 10,000 word paper on fire safety in a large organisation. The paper includes:
- Fire risk assessment report for large building
- Fire emergency plan for a large building
- Compile and present fire warden training for workforce
- Produce suitable building fire records
- Compile suitable fire procedures for a building including the fire action notice
Upon the successful completion of the Diploma, Mark Wilson said:
“I attended the Fire Manager Advanced Diploma in Warrington earlier this year. The course was very well run and informative. I found the workload reasonable, however there was some work required back at the hotel which was to be expected at this level.
“The venue was excellent and communication afterwards was great. I would be more than happy to recommend Vulcan to others who wish to complete this course.”
