Success for Richard Baker on Completing the Fire Manager Advanced Diploma Course

Vulcan is very pleased to announce the success of Richard Baker BSc (Hons) FdSc, MCIOB, C. Build E MCABE on the Fire Manager Advanced Diploma course. 

Richard first made contact with Vulcan in January 2015 and attended the Fire Manager Course – 5 Day Fire Risk Assessor course in February followed by the 4 Day Managing Fire Safety course in June of that year. 

Having been successful on the Fire Manager Certificate  course he enrolled on the 5 Day Fire Manager Advanced Diploma course which covers larger and high rise establishments.  He subsequently produced the required 10,000 word Project which he recently submitted and which met all the necessary criteria to award Richard the Diploma.

Richard is a Building Control Officer within the Planning & Building Control Directorate of the Department of Environment, Food & Agriculture (DEFA) based in Douglas on the Isle of Man and commented on the Diploma course as follows:

“An excellent way to upgrade your current qualifications with knowledgeable trainers and like-minded individuals”.

Richard is now able to apply to the Institute of Fire Safety Managers and/or the Institution of Fire Engineers for up to Member grade professional fire safety qualification subject to the Institute’s validation processes.
