Mark Buckingham passes his Fire Manager Advanced Diploma

Vulcan are delighted to announce that Mark Buckingham, a Crisis and Continuity Manager at BP Chemicals Ltd, has achieved the Fire Manager Advanced Diploma. 

Mark attended the Fire Manager Advanced course in February 2017 where he successfully passed all of the exams. Mark was able to enrol straight onto the course given his previous experience and qualifications. He then had 6 months to complete the project, of which he achieved a high standard.

Mark made the following comments on his course experience with Vulcan:  

“The Fire Manager Advanced Diploma course that I attended with Vulcan challenged me to look deeper into fire safety discipline and explore opportunities and solutions with a highly qualified and experienced peer group.  The instructor facilitated this intensive programme with skill and good humour, supporting the learning and coaching the delegates.  The project was appropriately complex, and required a good number of hours work, and justified the final award.
