Maria Spence, a Health and Safety Officer, achieves a distinction in her Fire Manager Advanced Diploma Project

17th November 2017

Vulcan are delighted to announce that Maria Spence, an Assistant Health and Safety Officer at South Yorkshire and Humberside Police, gained the Fire Manager Advanced Diploma, achieving a distinction on her outstanding project.

Maria Spence achieves a distinction

Maria attended the Conversion to Fire Manager Certificate back in July last year as she already had the NEBOSH Fire Certificate. After putting her knowledge into practice for a year, she then went on to attend the Fire Manager Advanced Diploma course in June 2017.

Maria passed all of her exams on the course and produced an outstanding project, of which she achieved a distinction on.

When asked about her experience with Vulcan, Maria commented the following:

“This course was invaluable in allowing me to put my NEBOSH Fire certificate learning into a practical understanding, the course materials provided are excellent, and the tutor was both professional and friendly giving a relaxed learning environment. I wish there were other courses I could do with this provider as the whole experience was excellent, and the best course I have attended. Thank you to the entire team from booking, course delivery, to receiving my certificate was a perfect service throughout every process.”

It has been great working with Maria over the past couple of years and we would like to wish her the best of luck in the future.
