Council Health & Safety Officer achieves Advanced Diploma

Vulcan has great pleasure in announcing yet another success from the Fire Manager Advanced Diploma course.

Les Davison, Health & Safety Officer for North Herts District Council, originally attended our Conversion to Fire Manager Certificate Course in 2015, and then went on to take the Advanced Diploma in November 2016.

Although he was given 6 months to complete his project he recently submitted this, and to his credit, was awarded the Diploma at Distinction level which indicates the high standard shown of his competence, understanding and knowledge.

When asked about the Advanced course, Les said: “A very well constructed training course covering all aspects of fire management and risk assessment. The comprehensive hand outs and training manuals was further enhanced by the extensive personal knowledge and real life experiences of the trainer.

I would not hesitate to recommend this course to anyone wishing to further their career in fire management and safety. Once again, thanks to the trainer and all the background staff at Vulcan Training that have enabled me to achieve this qualification.”
