The practical exercises including completion of plans, fire risk assessments and emergency plan, were particularly helpful as are the templates provided which can be adapted to suit personal requirements. Tutor very experienced and knowledgeable helped put a lot of content into context.

I did enjoy the course. The trainer was great and proves that you can take a very easy, informal approach to training and get the message across. He was incredibly knowledgeable and very patient with us all, answering all our questions and as we were a right mixed bunch those questions were all very different and came from people with very different skills base and varying degrees of previous knowledge. I've worked in Health & Safety for over 15 years and it's very rare courses are as enjoyable as the trainer made this course. And .... because I enjoyed it I'm sure I learnt more! I would just like to thank everyone else in Vulcan whom I spoke with over the weeks arranging this training, for their very kind assistance and help.
