21st December 2020

Another week in Portsmouth, means another success for Standard Aero Group! We would like to congratulate all delegates from Standard Aero Group following their excellent results on the Managing Fire Safety course last week.

Managing Fire Safety Course

Vulcan Fire Training’s Managing Fire Safety course is part two of our prestigious Fire Manager Certificate and is for those delegates who have successfully completed our Fire Risk Assessor course.

The course was administered in-house in Portsmouth and the training followed all social distancing and COVID-19 guidelines. Throughout the four day course, attendees completed a range of exercises which are designed to provide delegates with theoretical knowledge and practical experience in completing essential tasks such as:

  • Interpret fire safety legislation and its requirements
  • Compile fire risk assessment reports
  • Identify hazards and fire safety deficiencies
  • Maintain fire records, documentation and fire emergency plans
