The hotels sector is the fourth largest employer in the UK. Workers within the sector aim to provide customers with the best service and levels of hospitality, so it’s vital that workers within the sector know what to do in the event of a fire.

The Fire Warden Training Course we offer will ensure that employees within the hotel industry are able to:

    • Carry out efficient and effective fire evacuations of hotel premises
    • Assess what size fire they can safely deal with using appropriate fire equipment
    • Confidently operate portable fire-fighting equipment
    • Move in a smoke filled environment more confidently
    • Understand how quickly fire and smoke can spread
    • Help to promote fire safety awareness to both other employees and guests.

The course is a half day multi-media course approximately 3.5hr in duration with 3 hours of theory work and half an hour practical. In the course attendees will learn the importance of fire safety within the hotel industry and will also learn the essential duties and responsibilities of a Fire Warden within the hotel industry.

Read feedback from past attendees of the Fire Warden Training course here.

This course is an in-house option allowing it to take places in your own premises. Everyone attending the course receives a certificate of attendance which is approved by the Institute of Fire Safety Managers.
